Job Description
XY DIGITAL is looking for a Lead .NET/React Developer to join a long-term digital transformation project for a Latvian government agency. The selected candidate will lead full-stack development, ensuring scalable and maintainable code while mentoring junior developers. Project specifics will be disclosed during the interview phase. Candidates must be Latvian citizens and fluent in Latvian.

Key Responsibilities
Design the architecture of scalable, maintainable web applications
Lead implementation on both backend (.NET) and frontend (React)
Write clean, testable code with proper documentation
Ensure quality by writing and maintaining unit tests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on delivery
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups
Mentor less experienced developers and enforce best practices
Requirements
7+ years of experience with .NET development
3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice-based architecture
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Redis
Strong experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Latvian citizenship (mandatory)
Full proficiency in Latvian (written and verbal)
Skill & Experience
Experience with Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ
Proven ability to mentor and support junior developers
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Solid architectural thinking and proactive communication
