Job Description

XY DIGITAL is looking for an experienced Senior Sitecore Developer to join our delivery team for a high-profile governmental platform modernization project. As a senior specialist, you’ll play a critical role in developing, customizing, and optimizing content experiences using Sitecore technologies in collaboration with UX, backend, and DevOps teams. The project is fully remote and long-term. Details about the client and scope will be shared during the interview phase.


Interview Process

  • Step 1: Introductory call with Project Manager

  • Step 2: Technical interview with live questions or code review

  • Step 3: Final alignment with CTO and client representative

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Contract: Long-term / open-ended


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance Sitecore-based digital platforms

  • Implement new features, integrations, and optimizations using best practices

  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, DevOps, and design teams to deliver full-stack solutions

  • Review code, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure platform scalability

  • Ensure implementation aligns with Sitecore architecture guidelines

  • Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions

  • Provide guidance to mid-level developers when required


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level Sitecore development

  • Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC

  • Hands-on experience with Sitecore 9/10, SXA, and Sitecore Helix architecture

  • Deep understanding of custom modules, pipelines, and rendering techniques

  • Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and frontend customization within Sitecore

  • Experience using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, agile setup


Skill & Experience

  • Experience with Sitecore Headless (JSS)

  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized development

  • Knowledge of Search integration (Solr, Azure Search)

  • Exposure to Sitecore Commerce or personalization engines

  • Agile/Scrum experience and working with cross-functional teams
